Dear, We still insist to the LC payment terms. Last year T/T was an exception, that was our first cooperation so **(our boss name) agreed on that. This year we want to come back to normal. Although it costs 200USD more and takes more work, but it is safe and fair for both of us, isn't it? 客人回: Dear, honestly I can not understand. L/C is only made in case you want to make sure of payment and usually only used in case of first cooperation. Now you demand this after we cooperated and you should trust **(name of my client)? At least also L/C would not guarantee a payment, if you do not get a shipment release by **(name of my client), because this is part of documents you would need for L/C. So I really confused why **(our boss name) insist on this now. If you pass inspection there is no reason not to pay you and we pay on B/L copy, what means you do not he risk. You send out originals after payment. To be honest, you know that this year we must low down margin to get reorder, so there is no space for any extra cost. We really hope that our business is based on trust each other And you can agree on 100% T/T on B/L copy. Pls check with rose again and comment. 我应该怎么回复去说服客人接受LC?

Dear,

Thank you for expressing your concerns about LC payment terms. I understand that you may have some doubts about its effectiveness and potential drawbacks. However, allow me to explain why we believe it is a secure and practical option for both parties.

LC is a globally recognized payment method that aims to protect the interests of both the buyer and seller. It provides a secure guarantee that the payment will be made once the agreed conditions are met. This is especially important when dealing with large purchase orders, as it minimizes the risk of any misunderstandings and payment delays.

I understand that you feel a strong degree of trust in our previous working relationship and feel it is unnecessary to use LC this time. However, please understand that each business transaction is unique and our company policy is to ensure that our risk is minimized as much as possible.

Regarding your concern about the extra cost of LC, the cost of a letter of credit can be easily absorbed through the negotiations of other contract terms. Since we are able to offer you high quality goods at a competitive price, we have no doubt that we can reach an agreement that benefits both of us.

I hope you can understand our desire to minimize risks for both parties and appreciate the benefits that LC offers for a secure and reliable transaction. We value our relationship with you and want to continue doing business with you in the future, and we believe that LC can ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

Please let me know your thoughts on LC payment terms. We are happy to discuss further if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards,
